These rules apply whenever you place a bet, start a spin or take part in a casino game through your account with us. They should be read together with the information shown in the relevant game, the cashier and any bonus terms that apply to your play. By using our games, you confirm that you understand and accept the rules that apply to the game you choose.
You may hold and use only one account with us. Your account is for your own use and must not be used by another person. You must keep your account information accurate and up to date, protect your login details and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account. We may ask you to provide information or documents to verify your identity, age or account details. We operate under a gaming licence and verify accounts as part of our obligations.
- 18+ only: you must be at least 18 years old to use real-money games or place bets with us.
- Real-money play: stakes are taken from the balance available for real-money play, as shown in your account.
- Bonus-balance play: bonus funds are subject to the bonus terms that accompanied them and may not be available for every game or transaction.
- Final bets: a bet or spin is final once placed. It cannot normally be cancelled, changed or withdrawn after it has been submitted.
A bet or spin must be recorded by our game or betting system to be valid. If your account screen does not show the action, or if the game stops before a clear record is displayed, do not place the same bet repeatedly. Reconnect if possible and check your game or account history before taking further action.
Play within your limits
You are responsible for choosing stakes and session lengths that remain affordable. Use the deposit limits available in your account, and consider a time-out or self-exclusion if gambling is becoming difficult to control. GambleAware, GamCare, GamStop and the National Gambling Helpline provide help and information for people affected by gambling harm.
How bets and spins are settled
The result produced and recorded by the game server is the result used to settle a bet or spin. The visual display on your device is an interface for accessing the game; it does not replace the server record. If there is a difference between an animation, sound, message or displayed balance and the server record, the server record takes priority.
Each game has its own rules, symbols, winning combinations, features and payment conditions. You should read the in-game rules and paytable before playing. They explain how a result is calculated, what a stake can win and how special features operate. The rules and paytable shown for the game at the time of play apply to that game session.
The return-to-player figure, usually shown as RTP, is displayed in each game. This is a long-term theoretical percentage and is not a promise about the return from one session, one bet or one spin. Individual results can vary, and previous results do not determine future results.
- A winning result is settled according to the applicable game rules and paytable.
- Any displayed win, loss or balance change remains subject to the server record and these rules.
- A game feature must be completed in the way described in the in-game rules.
- If a game is disconnected, it may resume or settle when you reconnect, as described in the interruption rules for that game.
Where a game remains unsettled, do not assume that a missing animation means the bet was lost or that an incomplete feature means the bet was won. Reconnect and allow the game to display its outcome. If the position remains unclear, contact us with the details requested in the disputes section.
Malfunctions and interrupted play
A malfunction can include a technical error, interrupted data, an incorrect game state or another failure affecting the operation or settlement of a game. If a malfunction affects a bet, spin, feature or table result, the affected play and all pays arising from it are void. This applies even if an amount or outcome was briefly displayed on your device.
A disconnected game may resume when you reconnect. If the game server has already recorded an outcome, it will settle using that record. If the game has not completed, the game system may return you to the interrupted position or settle the play when the connection is restored, in accordance with the applicable game rules.
Do not repeatedly refresh a game, open several copies of the same game or place further bets while an earlier action is still being processed. These actions may make the display harder to follow, but they do not change the server record or the outcome of a valid bet.
If you believe a malfunction has affected your account, record the game name, the approximate time and the round reference if one is shown. Send these details to support@goodwin-casino.co.uk or contact us through the live chat on the site.
Bonus play
Bonus funds are not the same as unrestricted real-money funds. Every bonus has terms that explain who can use it, which games or stakes qualify, any playthrough conditions, when it expires and what is required before associated funds can be withdrawn. You must read those terms before using a bonus.
The maximum bet permitted during bonus play applies whenever the bonus terms say it applies. A game may contribute fully, partly or not at all towards a bonus condition. The game information, bonus terms or account display will show the applicable contribution. A larger stake does not change the contribution rate and does not remove any other bonus condition.
- Use bonus funds only in the way permitted by the relevant bonus terms.
- Observe the stated maximum bet, game contribution and any other play conditions.
- Do not use more than one account to obtain or use the same bonus.
- If a bonus is cancelled, expires or is removed under its terms, any associated balance is handled in accordance with those terms.
If you use both real-money and bonus balances, the balance display and bonus terms explain how the game records the play. A bonus cannot be used to avoid deposit limits, account checks or other account restrictions. We may cancel bonus benefits or void associated bonus play where the applicable terms have not been followed.
Promotional terms form part of the rules for the relevant offer. Where those terms differ from a general game description, the specific terms for that offer apply to the bonus play concerned.
Live casino and table games
Live casino games are conducted according to the rules shown in the help section for the individual table. Those rules explain the available bets, the table sequence, the point at which betting closes, the dealing or dealing-equivalent process and how the result is determined. Read the table help before placing a bet.
The dealer's decisions and the table result recorded by the game system are final. This includes decisions about dealing, drawing, card or wheel procedures, accepted actions and the outcome shown at the end of the round. A visual delay or connection issue does not change the recorded table result.
Late bets are not accepted after betting has closed. If an action reaches the table after the closing point, it will be handled according to the game-specific rules and system record. A bet that was not accepted is not treated as a valid bet for that round.
- Follow the instructions shown by the table and in its help section.
- Check the available stake options before confirming a bet.
- Wait for the round to settle before starting another action if the table is still processing.
- If you lose connection, reconnect and allow the table to resume or settle before taking further action.
Table-specific rules take account of the type of game being played. They may differ between tables, even where the games have similar names or features. The rules shown for the selected table apply to your play at that table.
Disputes and questions about a bet
If you believe a bet, spin, bonus result or live table outcome has not been settled correctly, contact support@goodwin-casino.co.uk or use the live chat on the site. Please send the game or table name, the approximate time of play and the round reference. These details help us identify the relevant account and server record.
- Explain what happened in clear, factual terms.
- Include the stake or transaction reference if it is visible in your account.
- Tell us whether the game disconnected, stopped, displayed an error or showed a different result from the account history.
- Do not send your password, full payment details or security codes.
We use the available account history, game records, server data and applicable game rules when looking into a dispute. The server result remains the final basis for settlement, subject to the malfunction provisions in these rules. A screenshot or device display can help explain the issue, but it does not replace the official game record.
We may ask for further information to identify the round or confirm that the request came from the account holder. Please keep your account secure while the matter is being looked into and do not attempt to recreate an unsettled action by placing additional bets.
If you have a question about a rule, contact us before playing where possible. The game help, paytable, bonus terms and account information available at the time of play are the main sources used to determine how a bet or spin should be settled.
